"If you can hit it, I can play it"
It all started when I placed out pots and pans to create my own makeshift drum kit as a toddler. I now have over sixteen years of drumming experience in a variety of genres including jazz, rock, pop, and funk. My many years as a percussionist for wind symphonies and orchestras have given me experience across all percussion instruments including but not limited to timpani, cajon, xylophone, and djembe. Additionally I sing, play piano, ukulele, and have begun to recently learn guitar. I’m always looking to pick up a new instrument!
Although I have been an actor-musician in a number of plays, I have also served as a percussion composer and/or drum coach for productions with Greater Victoria Shakespeare Festival on Macbeth, Pericles, The Tempest, and Two Gentlemen of Verona between 2017-2019. One of my favourite music gigs was at Just For Laughs in 2022 where I was a drummer for Moses Storm’s The Perfect Cult.
